Weekly Round up - 13/05/2026
The latest results from the Glossop Darts Club League have brought about some notable shifts in the standings, particularly in the Championship and Under 16s League. The Premier League saw some exciting matchups but maintained stability at the top of the table.
In the Premier League, Arran Burgreave retained his top position with a 6-3 victory over Jason Shave, keeping his lead in the standings with 30 points. Patrick Major also solidified his second place with a narrow 6-5 win against Nathan Shave, bringing his total to 27 points. Nathan Shave, despite a strong performance earlier with a 6-4 win over Aidan Morgan, moved up to fifth position, overtaking James Thorpe who dropped to eighth. Joe Szemberski climbed to sixth place after defeating Aidan Morgan 6-3. George Turner made a significant leap from tenth to seventh following his 6-0 victory over James Adderley. At the lower end, James McCormick moved up one spot to twelfth after a 6-4 win against Pete Egan.
The Championship saw Josh Seaborn further cement his lead at the top after winning both his matches, 6-2 against Loz Szemberski and 6-2 against Wayne North, maintaining his position with 27 points. Jordan Kenny's 6-3 win over Ben Woodacre propelled him three places up to fifth, while Elliott Major stayed in fourth after a 6-3 victory over Paul Beddall. Despite his loss, Paul Beddall remained in third place. Loz Szemberski dropped to sixth, and Freddy Travis fell to seventh after losing to Charlie Banham, who remained in ninth place. Wayne North slipped to eighth, and Ben Woodacre stayed at the bottom of the table.
